Green Technologies FZCO Celebrates 10th Year Anniversary

Green Technologies FZCO celebrated its 10th year anniversary on the 11th of September 2007. Established initially as Mario Associates Engineering Consultants in Dubai in 1992, Green Technologies was launched in 1997 with a special focus on Green Design and Sustainable Construction. The company successfully completed its first project in the Seychelles by taking the Le Meridian Fisherman’s Cove Hotel, to within the reaches of achieving LEED Certification in 1998 and went on to become a member of the United States Green Building Council implementing its Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Rating System in construction projects.

The company has since then undertaken many an assignment in the Middle East as well as overseas such as the Kandalama Hotel in Sri Lanka, the first LEED Green building outside the United States of America, awarded a LEED Bronze Certification in 2002 and the Wafi City District Cooling Chiller Plant (DCCP) ONE, the first LEED Green Building in the Middle East, awarded a LEED Gold Certification, to name a few among many other LEED projects on its profile.
