Upgrading of Cold Store Refrigeration Equipment – Union Properties Cold Store – Block One, Dubai UAE

The Cold Storage facility of 5,000 Sq.M comprises 4 large rooms, 7 small rooms and airlock. The facility is required for the purpose of Storage in Transit of ‘Frozen and Chilled’ products.

Identifying the need for the assessment of conditions of existing hardwares and the strategy for repair and upgrading.

Optimization of the cooling load for the facility and designing of the refrigerating system with high COP Screw Compressors. The recommended selection of refrigerant was made as per Dubai Municipality requirements.

The design ensures that the interfacing of new system with the existing system is carried out smoothly during installation and commissioning. This also requires replacement of necessary pipes, valves, all wiring and containment for power and control.

Design work carried out for upgrading of electrical power supply to meet new requirement in line with DEWA. Design work pertaining to replacement of all refrigeration and thermostatic controls was done.
