The Green Community (2003)

As a Board Member of Emicool Green Technologies Director Mario Seneviratne was responsible for directing the project at the Board level including reviewing and critiquing the designs carried out by primary project consultant.

The total planned capacity of this District Cooling Plant was 12,000T

Palm Crescent (2004)

Chilled Water Network Development

  • Responsible for carrying out hydraulic and stress analysis for the chilled water distribution network.
  • This is one of the first projects to use pre-insulated GRP piping for distribution of the chilled water.
  • Pipe sizes ranged from 800mm to 1200mm Dia.The stress modeling included the stresses due to the pipe crossing of two marine bridges.
  • The estimated capacity of the chilled water network is in excess of 100,000 T.

Mirdiff Development - (2003)

Representing the owner for this development was responsible for coordinating the Chiller plant work with the primary consultant for the phased development of this commercial and residential complex.

Detailed thermal analysis, life cycle costing and witnessing of factory testing of the chillers were highlights of the project assignment. The installed capacity of this District Cooling Plant was 5000T.

Al Musallah Towers (2003)

Implemented an energy management program, primarily working on the centrifugal chiller plant.

Savings in excess of US $ 250,000 per year was achieved by the programmed operation of the chillers and its auxiliaries.
