The Rainforest Ecolodge Deniyaya, Sri Lanka

The Rainforest Ecolodge is located in Deniyaya, Sri Lanka, on the Sinharaja Division of the Enselwatte Estate owned by Mathurata Plantations and the site borders the Sinharaja Rainforest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The main features of the Project includes the Ecolodge consisting of 16 Chalets situated among the tea patch, facing the forest canopy, in addition to a public area including a restaurant, bar, reception and lounge area, visitor centre and research station. Its design is deemed to be an iconic model, embodying the highest standards of sustainability, and constructed with the utilization of the most sustainable construction materials and methodologies.
