The Al Qassimi Private Villa is a home being built as a single dwelling unit for the Al Qassimi family. The project site is located on a small hillock in Ras Al Khaimah, facing the ocean. The Owner of the villa is keen on ensuring that as many sustainable strategies are incorporated within the project’s design in order to minimize the dwelling’s ecological footprint and also its operational costs.

Green Technologies were appointed by Blanchard (Architect for Record) to provide sustainable strategies and guidelines that covers same criteria as those included in USGBC’s LEED Rating System. The sustainability principles pursued on this project are as follows:
