Located strategically alongside the SABIC Plastics Application Development Center (SPADC) in Riyadh’s Techno-Valley at King Saud University, The Home of Innovation Project will comprise of two Projects.
Considered as a marketing and growth initiative sponsored by SABIC, the Home of Innovation Project includes the development of three buildings; two of the buildings comprise the Collaboration Center and one of the buildings is designated as the Demonstration Home. These facilities provides a venue for SABIC to engage their customers in discussions around partnering and growth initiatives in the MEA region.
Green Technologies, the LEED Consultant (construction) on the Collaboration Center Project, together with Sabic Project Team and the Main Contractor, J&P participated in a LEED Charette in April’14 where it was discussed and agreed that the Project is targeting ‘Gold’ level certification under LEED NC v2009.
On the 8th October 2015, The Home of Innovation, Collaboration Center Project was Certified LEED Gold, where all the submitted 28 credit points were awarded in the first Construction Stage review by USGBC-GBCI, thus achieving 100% success rate.
